Water-In® Lawn and Garden Wetter
Makes Water Wetter!
| What is Water-In? |
Water-In is comprised of Surfactants, an acronym for “Surface Active Agents”. Water quality and abundance varies from place to place, and high surface tension in water and/or compacted soils directly affect water penetration and impact.
Surface tension is an effect within the surface layer of water that causes that layer to behave as if it has an elastic cover. Surface tension is caused by the attraction between the molecules of the liquid by various intermolecular forces. Water-In breaks down that attraction allowing water to move and penetrate more efficiently.
When used according to instructions, the surface active agents in Water-In are designed to reduce the surface tension and allow the water applied to penetrate more effectively.
| When To Use Water-In |
Water-In performs at its best when part of a regular program of application to lawns, flowers, vegetable gardens, trees and shrubs beginning in early spring and continuing through autumn.
Treatment Recommendations: Water-In should always be diluted prior to use in water whether by mixing in a container or dispensing in a hose end sprayer. Water-In should always be applied to the point of run off.
| Initial Treatment: |
An initial treatment of 2 Tablespoons of Water-In in 1 gallon of water is typically sufficient to eliminate water runoff, puddling and enables watering to penetrate more easily. For best results, reapply every 6 to 8 weeks.
| Subsequent Treatments: |
In most areas, applications of Water-In at the rate 1 Tablespoon per gallon of water are sufficient however on highly compacted soils, slopes or areas prone to water runoff, the higher rate of 2 Tablespoons per gallon of water may be advisable.

Spray Oil Emulsion, Insecticide, Miticide and Fungicide OMRI Listed
Ideal for lawn and garden use, Saf-T-Side is a smothering oil, produced using only the highest quality “Narrow Range” oil providing optimal pesticidal effect, durability, and minimal hazard.
Horticultural spray oils are effective pest control mechanisms, but their efficacy as well as potential hazards are directly related to how long the oil remains on the plant. Most light oils are considered to be non-pesticidal because they don't remain on the plant long enough to suffocate pests, while most heavy oils are often considered to be hazardous to plants. Saf-T-Side is in the “Optimal Range”, providing excellent residual control without the hazards of heavier oils.
Saf-T-Side is a unique concentrate of pre-emulsified highly refined, high paraffin, low aromatic oil and nothing else, ideal for safe and effective pest and disease control in a broad range of crops and ornamentals.
The Saf-T-Side manufacturing process breaks down the oil, reducing typical droplet size from 700 microns to approximately 50 microns. Only then are emulsifiers added in the final manufacturing step. These smaller oil droplets assure that only a very thin; even coating of oil will be applied to the plant. Even coverage enables the product to be more effective in insect control as well as being safer for the plant.
| Applications |
Saf-T-Side may be used alone, or in combination with other products as a highly effective control for a broad range of crops and pests. Saf-T-Side's mode of action is primarily through the suffocation of eggs, larvae, nymphs and adults of soft bodied insects.
| Compatibility |
Saf-T-Side is compatible with most commonly used insecticides and fungicides. Read and follow all precautions and limitations on labeling of all products used in tank mixtures.
Saf-T-side is labeled for most Ornamental and Garden crops and numerous pests. Consult the product label for specific crop, pest, application and tank mix information.
