Foliar Applied Plant Nutrients |
The flagship of Brandt foliar products, Manni-Plex is not a micronutrient itself or even a standard complex or chelate. Manni-Plex is a delivery system expressly designed to deliver micronutrients to the Growth Forming Locations of the plant. Manni-Plex is formulated using a unique blend of primarily sugar alcohols for the specific purpose of improving plant health and vigor by either foliar or soil application.

Spraying a liquid nutrient onto a plant is no assurance of nutrient delivery. The 2 main conductors of water and nutrients in plants are the xylem and phloem, and through them, nutrients reach the Growth Forming Locations. The Manni-Plex molecule is smaller in molecular size than all other nutrient products, and as such is able to find its way into more of the stomatal openings and transcuticular pores of the plant, allowing the applied nutrient to find its way to the phloem or xylem, and through them, the Growth Forming Locations.

Brandt Gluco Complexes are the industry standard for foliar application. Glucoheptonate complexed micronutrients are highly recommended for foliar use. Their sugar content, relatively low molecular weight and their non-synthetic properties enhance their ability to be absorbed by foliar application.

Brandt Gluco Complexes are stable even in high pH solutions, and are recommended for most crops, deciduous fruit and nut trees, vegetable crops, melons, avocados, citrus, grapes, pasture, range grasse, etc.

Brandt Gluco Complexes are effective on a wide range of soil conditions, and especially effective on alkaline soils. Brandt Glucos may be foliar or soil applied and may be tank mixed with most insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, liquid fertilizer and other foliar micronutrients, and is non-phytotoxic when used as directed.
