Brandt EDTA Chelates
Brandt EDTA chelates are formulated by reacting metallic salts with “true” chelating agents. The chelate acts as a “claw”, clamping onto the metal and holding it until it’s delivered to the plant. The chelate keeps the micronutrient soluble and mobile, prevents them from being tied up in the soil chemistry. Brandt EDTA chelates are more efficient and easier to use in combination with liquid fertilizers than most other complexes or chelates.

Brandt Citric Acid Complexes
Brandt Citric Acid Complexes are micronutrient formulations containing Citric Acid to stabilize micronutrients, and to enhance their uptake and translocation within the plant. Citrates are the natural chelating compounds found in plant tissue giving them very low phytotoxicity.
Brandt formulations containing Citric Acid are designed to both complex and control the element(s) they are formulated with as well as to make available to the plant essential minerals that are bound up in the soil. Citric acid is also part of the Krebs cycle, and transports micronutrients through the xylem making them ideal for soil application and excellent for use in alkaline conditions.
